Welcome to The Ataru Shotokan Karate Club’s Website! Specialising in Traditional Shotokan Karate, as brought to this country by Vernon Bell in 1957 and fostered by Kancho Kanazawa in the 1960’s. Further developed under the guidance of the Karate Union of Great Britain’s Sensei Enoeda and its current Chief Instructor, Sensei Andy Sherry 8th Dan. The Club prides itself on being open to all ages and abilities from 7 year olds upward, male & female. With training halls in Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Prees, you are sure to be near a suitable venue if you live in, or near the North Shropshire area. Training nights are Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays and also on Saturday mornings - see below for more detailed information. |
